Meet the 2025 Upscale Cohort
Six local businesses selected for first-ever Upscale cohort to accelerate growth in Saskatchewan
SREDA is proud to announce the inaugural cohort of Upscale, a first-of-its-kind business growth program designed to help Saskatchewan companies scale with purpose and impact. Developed in partnership with Economic Development Regina and funded by Prairies Economic Development Canada, Upscale provides tailored, hands-on support to second-stage businesses with high-growth potential.
This year, six standout businesses from the Saskatoon Region have been selected to participate in the 2025 Upscale program:
- BDM Healthware A technology company that provides healthware products for acute care and other healthcare-related facilities. A leader in medication management and pharmacy solutions.
- High Key Brewing Corp. An independent craft brewery and distributor specializing in small-batch beers, hard seltzers and herbal teas.
- Innovative Stonecraft: A manufacturing company that creates high-quality, stone veneer products for residential and commercial construction.
- Keys Welding Services A robust fabrication and welding shop providing high quality products and services across the province.
- Magnum Technical Services A manufacturing company, providing multi-trade industrial, technical, and machining services to industrial clients.
- Peter Lucas Project Management A project management and engineering consulting firm serving North America’s heavy industrial and mining sectors.
Through Upscale, each business will work one-on-one with the SREDA team to develop tailored strategic growth plans backed by advanced market research, industry-specific advice, and access to professional services.
“These businesses embody the strength, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit that’s driving Saskatchewan’s economy forward,” said Erin Lawson, CEO of SREDA. “They’re creating jobs, supporting key sectors, and playing an important role in the growth and diversification of our province’s economy. We’re excited to support them through Upscale and look forward to being part of their growth journey.”
