Colton Wiegers Awarded 2026 Recipient of the Wanda Hunchak Leadership Award

SREDA is proud to recognize Colton Wiegers as the recipient of the 2026 Wanda Hunchak Leadership Award, celebrating his outstanding leadership, commitment to community involvement, and dedication to making a positive impact in the Saskatoon Region.

As CEO of Wiegers Financial & Benefits, Colton demonstrates a strong commitment to business leadership and community development. His passion for giving back extends beyond his professional role through his involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon and Area, Care For Kids By Wiegers, and numerous other community initiatives that support individuals and families across the Region.

Named in honour of Wanda Hunchak, who served on SREDA’s Board of Directors for over eight years, including as Chair and Vice Chair, this award recognizes the next generation of leaders who share her commitment to entrepreneurship, economic development, and community-building.

Colton was presented with the award on October 29 at SREDA’s Fall Economic Update Breakfast.
