Program Details

SREDA offers an exclusive, SREDA Partner-only two-part executive education program to advance TRC Call to Action #92. This complimentary program provides practical tools and strategies for building respectful partnerships with Indigenous communities. This program is rooted in the TRC’s Call to Action #92, which urges the corporate sector to apply the principles of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples to their operations. This includes education, equitable access, and meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities.

By participating, your organization is taking a step toward building long-term, respectful relationships that support economic reconciliation in our Region.

To enhance the experience and allow for deeper engagement, we strongly encourage participants to complete the following pre-education courses prior to attending:

Day One: Executive Workshop

Join us for an interactive, in-person workshop focused on advancing TRC Call to Action #92 through practical, impactful strategies. Discover how to create meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships by exploring real-world Nation Rebuilder case studies, human resources best practices, and cross-cultural communication and protocol. Through a dynamic mix of expert-led discussions and hands-on group activities, you’ll gain tools and insights to support respectful and effective reconciliation in your workplace.

Day Two: Land-Based Learning Tour

Friday, May 29, 2026 | Guided bus tour departing from SREDA’s Downtown Office
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Experience a unique, land-based learning journey to local First Nation communities, offering a powerful opportunity to connect with the land, people, and traditions in an authentic and respectful way. This guided tour includes meaningful conversations with Indigenous community leaders and elected representatives who will share their stories, knowledge, and perspectives on nation rebuilding, partnerships and business and community development.
