Milton Tootoosis is SREDA’s Senior Advisor of Indigenous Economic Reconciliation, dedicated to advancing strategies aligned with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. Raised on Poundmaker Cree Nation, Milton is a graduate of the First Nations University of Canada and an ongoing student of global Indigenous economic development research. With a career spanning HR management, community economic development, and leadership roles, he also serves as Chair of the Saskatchewan Indigenous Economic Development Network and Director of the Indigenous Leadership Development Institute. Based in Saskatoon, Milton actively promotes Cree language preservation, sustainable building, and cultural awareness education.
