Shayla Romanyshyn awarded 2024 Wanda Hunchak Leadership Award

We are pleased to announce that Shayla Romanyshyn has been awarded the 2024 Wanda Hunchak Leadership Award, recognizing her outstanding commitment, boundless energy, and genuine passion for connecting with people. Shayla’s remarkable ability to build opportunities through these connections has made a significant impact in both the business and non-profit sectors.

As Saskatchewan Regional Director at HUB Financial and President of the Saskatchewan Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs (SYPE), Shayla Romanyshyn demonstrates unwavering dedication to the business community. Her influence extends beyond her professional role; she honors her Ukrainian heritage by volunteering with the Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Association of Saskatoon, promotes community health through the Saskatoon Triathlon Club, and helps children reach their potential via Big Brothers and Sisters, exemplifying her deep-rooted passion for community service.

The Wanda Hunchak Leadership Award was created in 2020 to honour the dedication and passion Wanda showed without fail while serving on SREDA’s Board of Directors. The award recognizes emerging leaders who are passionate voices for the Saskatoon Region business community and demonstrate strong volunteerism with local boards.

Shayla was presented with the award on June 4 at SREDA’s Economic Outlook Luncheon.
