Agrifac Opens First Canadian Facility in Saskatoon Region

The Saskatoon Region continues to attract international attention as a hub for agricultural innovation and business growth. Netherlands-based agricultural equipment manufacturer Agrifac has announced the opening of its first bricks-and-mortar facility in Canada, selecting the Saskatoon Region as the location for its new Canadian headquarters and service centre.

After more than a decade of selling sprayers in Canada through Reesink Canada Wholesale, Agrifac has now established Agrifac Canada Inc., based in Saskatoon. The company’s decision to invest in the Region reflects the strength of Saskatchewan’s world-class agriculture industry, home to leading producers and growers, combined with Saskatoon’s skilled and ready workforce, collaborative business environment, and the opportunity for global companies to connect, innovate, and scale.

The new facility will offer localized support, spare parts, training, and service, helping Canadian producers reduce downtime and receive timely in-market service.

“We’re proud to deepen our relationship with Canadian growers and partners,” said Steven Koop, Product Manager at Agrifac Canada. “This new facility represents our ongoing commitment to co-innovating with farmers, advancing sustainable agriculture, and delivering meaningful impact on a global scale.”

SREDA was pleased to support Agrifac throughout the location selection process, providing market insight, local connections, and guidance on establishing operations in Saskatchewan through our investment attraction initiatives.

We’re pleased to welcome Agrifac to the Saskatoon Region,” said Erin Lawson, CEO of SREDA. “It has been a pleasure working with the Agrifac team, and we’re proud to support their growth as they join a strong and growing network of international companies choosing Saskatoon as a place to connect, collaborate, and lead in agricultural innovation.
