Three Saskatoon Tech Companies Heading to Startupfest

Three local tech companies will be traveling to Montreal next month as part of SREDA’s third annual entrepreneurship program, The Tech Trip. Winners were selected based on the viability of their technology, their current business stage and ultimately their readiness for capital investment.

While in Montreal, the winners, along with representatives from SREDA and Co.Labs will be participating in Startupfest, Canada’s original startup event. Startupfest is an annual gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, makers, industry veterans and startup communities. While in Montreal, the winners will meet with high-impact investors, mentors and technology experts who can help take their start-ups to the next level and scale.

“Back by popular demand, The Tech Trip gives a boost to Saskatoon-based entrepreneurs in taking their tech companies to the next level and scale,” said Alex Fallon, President and CEO, SREDA. “You can be the best in the world from anywhere in the world, and Saskatoon’s tech companies are a prime example of this. The Tech Trip will help these companies meet the right investors, partners and ideas to fast track their scale up plans. We are excited for them to represent Saskatoon in Montreal at Startupfest”.

The three selected companies for The Tech Trip are:

eHelply SuperStack, is a collection of tools that can be connected to any new or existing app to rapidly turn ideas into websites, apps and software saving time and money.

alto, is a health tech startup dedicated to supporting individuals and families through their care journey while improving outcomes for caregivers and care facilities.
