SREDA TTT participant lands deal with MLB team

SREDA congratulates Saskatoon-based tech company, SkillShark Software Inc., on their recent deal with Major League Baseball team, the Houston Astros.

Skillshark Software Inc., founded by Neil Anderson, is a player evaluation app and reporting software for tryouts, camps and player development. It provides coaches, scouts and evaluators a mobile app solution for all sports globally.

In 2018, Anderson participated in SREDA’s entrepreneurship program, The Tech Trip, where local tech companies joined representatives from SREDA and Co.Labs in San Francisco to meet with high-impact investors and mentors who could help take their startups to the next level and scale. The trip included many headliner tech entrepreneurs including Alicia Soulier, Founder and CEO of SalonScale, and Matt Fahlman, Co-Founder and CEO of Offstreet.

“It’s always exciting to hear news of companies we’ve helped making big moves in taking their business to the next level and scale,” said Alex Fallon, President and CEO, SREDA. “Like I always say, you can be the best in the world from anywhere in the world, and Saskatoon’s tech companies are prime examples of this.”
