Methodology

The data used in this Tracker is sourced from Statistics Canada, Conference Board of Canada, the International Monetary Fund and industry associations. Each indicator has its own recovery percentage, which is then weighted to achieve a total recovery percentage for the economy.

Note that all data are inclusive of all businesses within their respective sectors. For example, retail sales encompasses all independent retailers, big box retailers and online sales.
