What do you get a legend of the Saskatoon business community for a retirement present?

The Boardroom at 202 Fourth Avenue North, home to The Chamber, SREDA, Tourism Saskatoon and Tourism Saskatchewan, has officially been renamed as ‘The Smith-Windsor Boardroom’.

At an office retirement party for Kent Smith-Windsor, SREDA CEO Alex Fallon unveiled a plaque renaming the boardroom in honour of the long serving Executive Director of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce.

Speaking at the presentation Fallon said, “Kent has been bringing people together around the table in Saskatoon for many years, naming the Boardroom in his honour will forever remind us all of his contribution to the City of Saskatoon. It’s the least we could do for Kent.”

Offering his best piece of advice to the office colleagues, Kent said “Find the best in those you work with and help bring it out of them.”
