SREDA is in Toronto this week selling the Saskatoon Region to global executives interested in Canada’s life sciences, pharmaceutical and medtech industries. SREDA, in partnership with Tourism Saskatoon, will be attending Innovate Canada, an event aimed at attracting international business events and investment to Canada.
During the four-day event, SREDA will be promoting the Region’s vibrant life science sector, attractive business climate and strong partnership and investment opportunities to global companies interested in the ground-breaking work taking place across Canada.
“The Saskatoon Region is home to some of the world’s leading biotechnology and life sciences research and some of the most advanced research facilities in Canada,” said Alex Fallon, President and CEO of SREDA. “Participating in Innovate Canada will allow us to shine a light on the cutting-edge research, breakthrough thinking and innovative spirit that takes place in the Saskatoon Region, while also positioning us as a global competitor in the life sciences industry.”
“Tourism Saskatoon aligned our sales strategy with sectors of strength a number of years ago. Innovate Canada has become a premier opportunity for us to develop leads for hosting these international gatherings, which bring global leaders in these sectors to our destination,” commented Todd Brandt, President and CEO of Tourism Saskatoon. “We were excited to host the entire Business Events Canada international sales team in Saskatoon just two weeks ago. The enthusiasm they displayed for what we offer in our sectors of strength was robust and genuine.”
