To support its Entrepreneurship pillar, SREDA is seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Specialist, Entrepreneurship. Under the direction of the Manager, Entrepreneurship Programs, the Specialist, Entrepreneurship assists in delivering services to entrepreneurs who require support through SREDA’s entrepreneurship program, Square One. This includes providing administrative support to SREDA’s team of Business Advisors and acting as the initial point of contact for entrepreneurial clients.

The Specialist, Entrepreneurship is responsible for the following:

  • Be the first point of contact for clients; provide a world-class service experience
  • Determine client’s reason for inquiry via in person and phone; elevate inquiries to Business Advisors
  • Support the Business Advisors by preparing material from various market research databases
  • Update content for print and online small business publications
  • Assist in the delivery of events, presentations and other outreach initiatives
  • Represent SREDA in the business community to promote entrepreneurship in Saskatchewan
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Entrepreneurship and Director, Business Development


  • Enthusiastic and vibrant personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability and desire to learn (software, databases, business regulation)
  • Basic understanding of the entrepreneurial eco-system in Saskatchewan
  • Exhibit a high degree of initiative; is organized, reliable, self-motivated and punctual
  • Experience using WordPress, Microsoft Dynamics and Adobe Creative Suite considered an asset
  • French language skills considered an asset

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.)
