SREDA Wins National Marketing Award

The Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) has announced that SREDA has won an EDAC Marketing Canada Award and won the grand prize, an EDAC Cup. This award is in recognition of SREDA’s newly developed website The EDAC Marketing Canada Award was presented at the 2016 EDAC Conference held yesterday in Saskatoon.

“This award speaks to our focus on marketing the Saskatoon Region to the world as the best place to live, work and invest,” said Alex Fallon, President and CEO of SREDA. “We made some significant improvements to our marketing strategy to better promote the Saskatoon Region and the work we do across our six pillars of economic development: business and investment attraction; business retention and expansion; entrepreneurship support; regional planning; economic forecasting and analysis; and marketing the Saskatoon Region.”

This year’s EDAC Marketing Canada Awards included 12 categories recognizing all aspect of marketing. A panel of judges chose the ‘best of the best’ marketing material from across Canada.
