VIA Rail Canada operates 480 trains in eight Canadian provinces (exceptions are Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island) over a network of 14,000 km (8,700 mi) of track spanning the country from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and from the Great Lakes to Hudson Bay. VIA Rail carries approximately four million passengers annually.

 

The Saskatoon railway station is the only rail station in operation in the City of Saskatoon, and is located eight kilometers from the central business district. The station is serviced by “The Canadian” three times per week. The station is equipped with a ticket counter, and waiting room.
