Saskatoon is the choice location of annual events such as the Sundog (a craft show and sale), the Festival of  Trees and the Saskatoon Exhibition (which runs for six days during the summer and features a midway with thrill rides and entertainment).  The city has also played host to large conventions such as the International Association of Women Police Conference in 2006, which attracted more than 600 delegates from all over the world.
