City of Saskatoon Business Start-Up Guide is provided by the City of Saskatoon Community Services Department. The guide includes an informative Start-Up Checklist and a Business Contact Directory. The Start-Up Checklist is a convenient resource to help guide your business through the licensing and start-up process. Information Services Corporation is the place to register your business in Saskatchewan. The Corporate Registry Branch coordinates, promotes, develops, implements and enforces policies and programs that relate to the registration and regulation of business corporations, non-profit corporations, co-operatives and other businesses in Saskatchewan.

Business Expansion Development Incentives
As part of its commitment to business attraction and business expansion, SREDA administers the City of Saskatoon’s Business Development Incentives Policy. These tax abatement incentives were created to encourage attraction and expansion of businesses and facilitate long-term job creation. Corporations meeting the eligibility requirements for a property tax incentive may qualify for a tax abatement of up to 100% of new or incremental taxes in year one, 80% in year two, 70% in year three, 60% in year four, and 50% in year five.
