Business – Key Industries – ICT Saskatoon
The Saskatchewan Advanced Technology Assocation (SATA) and the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA) are working together to raise the profile of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector in the Saskatoon Region (as well as provincially).
These two organizations are working to promote the advantages and communicate emerging opportunities for doing business in Saskatoon (and Saskatchewan) in the ICT sector. Consistent and frequent messaging and dissemination of current trends will help to raise the profile of our region and SREDA and SATA would like to see growth through new business start-ups, retention, investment and further support for our technology community.
Local ambassadors are individuals who are working in the ICT sector (individuals that have the history and ability to speak about ICT from first-hand experience as well as talk about their own businesses, and the contributions they are making to the world). They have been invited to support the program for a one-year term.
ICT Ambassadors are invited to host, present, promote, build relationships and support ICT initiatives. Ambassadors have been chosen because of their qualifications and their obvious pride in Saskatoon and in the ICT sector. These Ambassadors are business owners, educators, researchers, service providers, recent graduates and students.
